Contest Alert! How Do You Define Quality?
September 11, 2013
Did you know a Google search for the term quality charter schools yields 17,600,000 results? We all talk about quality charter schools and the impact they have on our nation’s children, but what does it all mean? How do you define quality charter schools?
The National Association of Charter School Authorizers seeks to define quality in the opening plenary session of its 2013 Leadership Conference, hosted October 21-24 in San Diego. We want to you join us as one of our speakers for this exciting event. In 250 words or less, tell us how you define quality in the charter school sector and how your definition of quality is shaped by your own personal story. How does your definition guide you in your work? What are you doing to make a difference in the lives of children?
Send your definition to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, September 23. We’ll review your submissions and narrow it down to five candidates who will be invited to submit a video of their submission. The video submissions will be considered by our California Host Committee. The winner selected by the committee will be flown to San Diego to join NACSA and other leaders in the field as they discuss their definition of quality charter school schools during the open plenary session. The winner will also receive a complimentary registration to the entire conference.
