National School Choice Week 2014
September 13, 2013
Schools can now register to receive their complimentary Event Kits for National School Choice Week 2014 (January 26 to February 1, 2014). The materials are available while supplies last, and NSCW is asking that schools register by October 1.
Visit http://www.schoolchoiceweek.com/schools to register today.
The 50-person Event Kits are available at no cost to schools that plan to host events during National School Choice Week, which shines a spotlight on effective education options for children. Event Kits include National School Choice Week’s symbolic yellow scarves, rally signs, event promotion posters, banner and stickers. This year, the kits will also include a yard sign that you can place outside of your school!
I encourage you to register to participate in National School Choice Week and receive these materials. I hope you will also start thinking about the types of events you might plan during the week. You can plan any type of event you’d like — a community open house, a recruitment drive, a pep rally, a student/teacher awards ceremony, etc. The sky is the limit, and every event counts!
Just as a reminder: National School Choice Week is an independent public awareness campaign designed to increase public awareness of great schools like yours. All types of K-12 schools can participate — from traditional public schools to public charter schools, magnet schools, private and religious schools, online academies, and homeschooling groups. The celebration is nonpartisan and nonpolitical.
I hope you will participate. Make sure to register for your materials ASAP at http://www.schoolchoiceweek.com/schools.
