WEEKLY UPDATE: JUNE 24, 2016
Call to Action Day: Monday, June 27th
Join others across Pennsylvania and take 5 minutes on Monday, June 27th to call state lawmakers urging them to increase basic education funding in the state budget.
We know that just 10 calls in one day to one lawmaker can make a difference, and we appreciate your support for fair funding for ALL students!

2. Call their Harrisburg office and tell them this:
An increase of $250 million for basic education funding in the state budget would be a crucial investment in our public schools.
But if we want all students to have the resources needed to succeed, more state funding is needed.
Please come together on a final budget that funds public education by at least $250 million this year, and increase the state’s investment, using the new fair funding formula, by $3 billion over the next six to eight years.
These funding increases will support all students and close the state’s achievement gaps. The longer we delay in building this investment, the steeper the hill to climb in future years.
3. Spread the word and invite people you know to call their lawmakers
