Tools and ideas will be provided to assist schools in being proactive and responsible with fiscal transparency. We will review the “Why” and focus on the “How”, “Where”, “What”, and “When” of best practices in regards to fiscal transparency. ESL Program Development and Compliance Training for Charter Schools – Gina Oliphant and Kelly Noyes – Allegheny Intermediate Unit
This session will begin with a Compliance Self-Assessment and then walk you through the components of a sound ESL Program. Participants will have the opportunity to look at the PA Code for Educating Students with Limited English Proficiency and complete a compliance chart that will be their final guide toward building a Compliant and Effective Program.
