NEWS: Ana discusses cyber charter programs in Philadelphia Inquirer article

Ana Meyers, executive director of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools, called the report “a pile of one-sided garbage from an organization that is against parental choice.” She said lawmakers should evaluate school district cyber programs before comparing them to charters.

SCHOOL VISIT: Ana and Brandie visit Premier Arts and Science Charter School

This morning we visited in Harrisburg! PASCS began as a child care center and daycare where parents, students and the staff of Premier Learning Center, loved what the center was doing so much that they worked to continue that mission by founding a K-5 charter school!

NEWS: Charter schools make top 100 on Philadelphia Business Journal’s top schools

Congratulations Infinity Charter School for ranking #7 on the Philadelphia Business Journal’s top schools according to 6th-grade standardized (PSSA) test scores! Also making the top 100 were Bucks County Montessori Charter school (#61), MAST Community Charter School (#72), and Souderton Collaborative Charter School (#100)!

Beginning in the 2018-2019 school year, school board directors and charter school trustees are required to complete training programs pursuant to Act 55 of 2017. School board directors or charter school trustees appointed as of July 1, 2018 will be required to complete the initial four-hour training program required under Act 55 during their first year in office.

NEWS: Crispus Attucks Charter School announces new certification in childhood development

Students at Crispus Attucks Charter School can now receive certification in childhood development thanks to a recent federal grant that will extend what had been a pilot program.
