Media Advisory: Sen. Anthony Williams and Rep. Josh Kail to be awarded the 2021 Charter Champions Award

HARRISBURG (MAY 11, 2021) – The Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools (PCPCS) on Thursday will be honoring two legislative champions of public charter schools, Sen. Anthony H. Williams (D-Philadelphia) and Rep. Josh Kail (R-Beaver), with 2021 Charter Champions Awards for their outstanding contributions to protecting public education opportunities for students and families in Pennsylvania. 

The 2021 Charter Champions Awards will be given as part of PCPCS’ 2021 Charter School Student Showcase event in honor of National Charter Schools Week. The talents and successes of public charter school students from around the Commonwealth will be showcased during the virtual event.
