Call for Presentation Proposals
Proposals due June 10, 2022
The Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools (PCPCS) is now accepting presentation proposals for the 2022 PCPCS Annual Conference. PCPCS is looking for engaging presenters and compelling presentations to ensure a comprehensive slate of program offerings. Proposals should address trends and topics reflective of challenges, opportunities, and solutions as they pertain to the best practices in education and should engage attendees in dialogue about cutting edge trends, issues and educational solutions.
We’re seeking thoughtful and engaging proposals that showcase the presenter’s expertise and understanding on the topics most critical for charter schools that:
• Have clear learning outcomes,
• Present advanced-level content,
• Engage the expertise of the audience, and
• Address a significant topic.
PCPCS is selecting proposals in the following categories:
- Advocacy: Content related to the latest developments in district, state, and federal legislation and activism, and designed for policy experts, advocates, and/or policy focused individuals.
- Educational/Student Achievement: Content that focuses on reimagining education, highlighting the very best practices that move the needle on student achievement and can be replicated.
- Legal: Content related to the latest trends and issues affecting the charter school community
- Operations: Content related to school administration, communications, and operations, and designed to provide those who support schools with the necessary tools to insure long-term organizational health.
- Governance/Board Training: Content designed to provide board members with the knowledge and skills necessary to drive an organization to mission fulfillment. Content may include board leadership, fundraising, recruitment, board-staff partnership, or best practices of high performing boards.

Sessions will be held Wednesday, September 21 through Friday, September 23, 2022. All potential presenters should plan be available the entire conference. Presenters will be notified of acceptance by June 24, 2022. If accepted, you will receive your exact session date and time by June 30, 2022.

The Innovation Strand is Back!
We are looking for the Innovative Educators to share their best practices with the world. Pennsylvania’s charter school movement began as an incubator for innovative educational practices that could help all of Pennsylvania’s students to achieve their dreams. Now is your time to showcase your best, most brilliant and most innovative ideas.
Do you have an innovative idea worth sharing?
Your innovative ideas can be from the past, be part of the present or be focused on the future. Be mindful to stick to a single main idea. If you have data and artifacts, we would love to see them. Do you have a great story or testimonial? We want to hear it.
We are looking for the best! So don’t be afraid to shine!

We kindly ask that you do not submit a proposal that is a sales pitch. If we learn that your presentation is a sales pitch from this year’s feedback, you will not be allowed to present at next year’s conference.
