House Education Committee hears the successes and challenges of educating public charter school students
HARRISBURG (Feb. 22, 2021) – Lenny McAllister, CEO of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools (PCPCS), will testify on Tuesday, Feb. 23, before the House Education Committee, which is looking at how schools managed the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

McAllister will be joined by three public charter school leaders: Dr. Stacy Gill-Phillips, CEO of the West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School; Jane Swan, CEO of Reach Cyber Charter School, and Dr. Gail Yamnitzky of Spectrum Charter School, Monroeville, PA.
The hearing is schedule to begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, in Room G-50 of the Irvis Office Building in Harrisburg. The hearing will be live streamed on the House GOP website.
