Yesterday, Ana had the pleasure to visit Executive Education Academy Charter School in Allentown. What a school this is with the impressive mission of implementing a leadership academy and business education model that engages students in the school community, prevents them from dropping out of school, fosters self-resiliency, and prepares them to be contributing members in the workplace, college, and the community. Most importantly their model addresses student resiliency. Students at risk of academic failure often face a complexity of problems due to poverty, health, and other social conditions that have made it difficult for them to succeed in school. EEACS has systems in place to support each factor that influences resiliency. With over 1,000 students enrolled, EEACS has NEVER had to expel a student. We think this is phenomenal and we are so proud of the work that is being done at this school! Share on Facebook here
