This week, Ana spent time at Roberto Clemente Charter School in Allentown. This is a school of choice that started in 2000 with middle school students, progressively added a high school program and now has become a K-12 school. From a young age, students learn about various colleges and universities and prepare to live that dream. Roberto Clemente Charter School serves mainly minority students and has had outstanding graduation rates! Ana, a former ESL student herself, had a chance to spend time with those ESL kids at the middle school level. Roberto Clemente Charter School is creating opportunity for low-income kids in Allentown!
