Unfortunately, three more charter school applications were denied last night by the Philadelphia School Board. The true shame comes when you realize that several Philadelphia charter schools are getting applications more than 10 times the number of slots they have available. Just last month 30,000 students completed 120,000 applications through a new website that allows students to apply to multiple charter schools.
