We are so proud that Tidioute Community Cs (TCCS) was selected by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation staff to be part of a nationwide study of charter schools which demonstrate they have effective practices for students with IEPs. On November 15 and 16 researchers from Seattle, Washington representing the Gates Foundation spent two days at TCCS interviewing parents, teachers, and others to determine peoples’ perceptions of why TCCS has impressive test scores, satisfied parents and a low amount of violence or student disruptions. TCCS was proud to have been selected as a charter school with best practices. A national report will be written in a year and published at the University of Washington reporting the Gates-funded study results.
