The Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools (PCPCS) and Infradapt are thrilled to announce the National School Choice Week Dance Contest!  All charter school students are invited to participate for a chance to win $1,000 in prize money for the winning school or class to obtain technology! 

The contest is open to all PA charter school students! Contest prize will be paid directly to the school of the winning video. 

Schools or classes can submit dance videos between 12/14/21 and 1/14/22 for the chance to win a $1,000 in prize money to be used for technology for your school or class.  Winner will be selected at random and will be announced the week of January 17, 2022 before National School Choice Week 2022 (January 23 – 29, 2022).

This year’s song is “The Biggest Moment of Our Lives.” You can download it for free by clicking here.

Not sure about dance choreography?  No problem!  The National School Choice Week team has created a step-by-step dance tutorial for you to follow.  You are encouraged to use this tutorial or be creative and create your own!

Please note: Each dance video submission must be accompanied by a release signed by each of the participating student’s parent or guardian.

CONTEST RULES: 

Each submitted video must include who they are representing (e.g. ABC Charter School or Mrs. Smith’s 1st grade class at ABC Charter School), students’ names, and contact information for the school leader/teacher.

Multiple submissions from schools will be accepted.  However, each video should have different students in each.

Each submission must be accompanied by a release and parental/guardian permission form signed by the student’s parent or guardian. The release can be downloaded here. 

Final videos must be emailed to info@pacharters.org. All submissions must be received no later than Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET.Winner will be chosen at random.

The winner selected is final. 

Contest winners will be notified during the week of January 17, 2022. 

Infradapt leadership will present award at the school (pending availability).
